STRINGS CAMP REMINDER

Remember to pack your lunch Monday and Tuesday. We will have pizza on Wednesday the 19th.

Also, don’t forget your 12pack of drinks and package(or 2 doz) cookies for camp.

Strings Camp Dates

Mark your calendar! Strings Camp starts Monday, August 17th and continues thru August 19th. The concert is August 19th.

AHS Symphony Orchestra at Alice Tully

AHS Symphony Orchestra placed 1ST Runner-Up at the National Orchestra Cup! Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center was abuzz with outstanding orchestras from all over the country, but our guys smoked ‘um!

Special Congrats to Principle Cellist Liz Mathias who was awarded the Best Low String Solo!

Anderson Orchestra Boosters are extremely proud of our incredible student musicians. Congrats on a job well done!

FREE Concert! April 1st

The AHS Symphony Orchestra is performing their New York City program at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 1st. AHS Students will have an opportunity purchase $2 tickets during lunch periods for the 7th period concert.

The concert is open to the public, and FREE for Senior Citizens.

Please join us in giving the Symphony a rousing send off to The Lincoln Center and the National Orchestra Cup!

Join Anderson High School’s talented students for the annual Evening of the Arts! Our Extraordinary students display their talents through many mediums. Come stroll the Anderson HS halls brimming with displays of Instrumental music, Vocal Music, and wander through the countless art galleries…

UPDATE! NYC trip UPDATE

We have a few more details for the NYC trip. The Dinner and Harbor Cruise is set for
SATURDAY, APRIL 4TH. The competition is still on for
SUNDAY, APRIL 5TH.

Also, the FINAL PAYMENT (originally due on March 6th) is now due MONDAY, MARCH 16TH.
We are still waiting on the final itinerary from FORTE Festivals and fundraising monies, which will determine the final payment.
