Wednesday, Feb 17th Concert and Portraits info: Be at AHS IN CONCERT DRESS at 4:30pm. Glutz Photography will be handling the group and individual photos. Boosters will once again be providing dinner after the photos/before the concert. Everyone will get a photo for the composite! Envelopes coming home soon.

Be ready to warm up at 6:30. The concert starts at 7pm.

Friday, Feb 19th OMEA Large Group Contest info: Bus leaves for Kettering immediately after school. Come to school prepared to go! Uniform, music, instrument and snack money need to arrive with you! Phil performs at 5pm, Symphony performs at 7:40pm. This is open to the public: we would love to see lots of familiar, supportive faces!

AHS Symphony will once again welcome Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra members for sectionals.
Please arrive at AHS at 9:45 to be warmed up and ready to play at 10:00. We are lucky to have the CSO volunteers until 11:30.

Ohio University Band and Orchestra members will be joining the Philharmonic and Symphony Orchestras on Wednesday, January 27th, prior to their own performance at the OMEA State Conference. This will be a fun afternoon with a performance and clinic.

Reminder: Symphony to perform for the OMEA State Conference at the Hyatt Regency, Ballrooms E,F,G.
Arrive at AHS in uniform for loading at 6:15 am. Bus departs AHS at 6:45am SHARP!
They will perform Friday, January 29th at 9:45am. This performance (at the Hyatt) is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. If NON-CHAPERONES want to attent the CONFERENCE (at the Duke Convention Center), you must purchase admission.

Be sure to bring lunch money. We will head back to AHS at 3:50pm.
Also, chaperones are needed. If you are available, please contact Mr. Welch ASAP.

special guest Dan Long, a nationally reknown clinician.

Audrey Platt, Lindsey Sauter, Lindsey Sullivan, Megan Sullivan, Emily Vincent, Evan Wiener and Lindsay Wiener.

Join them on Sunday, November 8th at 3pm for the concert at Middletown High School!

The next concert is October 22. This is in conjunction with the Summit, Ayer and Maddux elementary strings. All students need to be at AHS at 4pm for rehearsal. Boosters will be feeding all the students. Parents who can help with dinner should contact Vicki Beltramo at aerostch@iglou.com.

Also, Mr. Welch informed the Symphony that the OMEA Convention performance is Friday, January 29th at 9:45am. The Symphony will perform for the OMEA professors and teachers at the Hyatt Ballrooms E-F-G. This event is open to the public and hope to see many folks there!
